There seems to be quite an ongoing problem there, atleast from my point of view coming from Australia..
I came across so many wanting money you begin to get picky about who you give your money to..
In Seattle the week before I came across a man in the middle of the road asking for a place to stay or whatever anyone could offer for himself and his stranded wife all I had was a couple of spare coins and my leftover lunch which I gave him and he accepted graciously..
In my hometown, of Perth, Australia a bum or a beggar is an extremely rare occurance - I guess with our welfare system there shouldn't be any...
It was a shock to me in any case, and this is just one of the few cases and as you can tell these two aren't the hardest done by of all.. Oh well I contributed to their liquor fund in exchange for taking the photo
it is pretty sad, you see alot of it in america too. hence, people pissed at bush for taking more concern in other countries than trying to fix the problems we have in ours. this is a pretty sweet picture though. likin' the b&w.

Yeah, we have a few in Cardiff - There's quite a fair few in London to, but i'd imagine a hella lot more in America. I find now that a lot of them are making these signs for entertainment purposes. When I was in Hollywood, my my there was soooo many there - And they were all making comical signs, I think now it's a competition of "Whoever has the funniest sign gets the money" - I maybe wrong, but that's how it seems to me
Anyway, cool pic Jelly pants.
wow... this past weekend in Las Vegas we saw a man with a sign that said " WHY LIE I NEED MONEY TO BUY BEER!" i guess people now tell the truth what they are going to use your money for its very sad...
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
